Tarbia Insight: Journal of Islamic Education is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing Human-Centered Islamic Education through innovative and interdisciplinary scholarship. The journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, conceptual papers, and methodological studies that examine how learners, educators, leaders, institutions, communities, and technologies collectively shape learning, human development, and educational quality across diverse Islamic educational contexts.
Beyond traditional perspectives that primarily examine curriculum, pedagogy, and educational policy, Tarbia Insight conceptualizes Islamic education as a dynamic human system where cognitive, social, organizational, and technological factors interact to shape educational experiences, human development, and educational transformation.
The journal explores how cognition, behavior, decision-making, leadership, well-being, learning environments, organizational practices, and human–technology interaction influence educational effectiveness, inclusion, resilience, and sustainable development across diverse Islamic educational contexts.
The journal welcomes diverse methodological approaches, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental research, grounded theory, design-based research, bibliometric analysis, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and configurational approaches. Through interdisciplinary inquiry, Tarbia Insight seeks to generate new insights into how Islamic educational systems can better understand human capabilities, support meaningful learning, cultivate ethical development, and enable individuals and communities to flourish.
The journal is strongly committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
